The role of Senior FP&A Analyst (f/m/d) - Anaplan, is embedded in the Group Controlling team with a direct reporting line to the Head of Planning & Reporting. You will cooperate closely with the Group Head of Controlling, local CFOs, local FP&A, actuaries, data analysts as well as external consultants. The role can be staffed in any of our legal entities as well as a fully remote.

Our Group Controlling team is going through a very exciting period of professionalising our finance processes and creating a high performing Finance function. In order to support our global planning and cost controlling processes, we are implementing Anaplan as one of the five key projects within the Group Finance function. In your role you will be driving the implementation of Anaplan in close cooperation with all stakeholders. You will be supported by the Controlling team as well as external consultants. You will contribute to the successful transformation from being a European scale-up to becoming a globally operating Insurtech with the ambition to go public in the mid-term.

In this role you will

  • Define the scope of the implementation of Anaplan and drive adoption within the organisation
  • Coordinate building sprints in alignment with external consultants, track costs and timelines, provide end user trainings
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and improvements of the tool
  • Assist in data validation, testing, and deployment of new models in Anaplan
  • Become a subject matter expert who leverages Anaplan capabilities to support our current and future planning and controlling needs, in order to support business strategies and decision making to meet the evolving needs of a fast growing organisation
  • Closely partner with the Controlling team during the planning cycle in order to create a scalable and reliable planning model, and support transparency on financial performance

What you bring:

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, IT or mathematics
  • Solid financial planning and controlling background
  • Experience with building integrated 3-statement models; Anaplan knowledge is a strong plus (level 1-3)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, experience with SQL and Power BI is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional projects across teams with different backgrounds, such as controllers, actuaries, data analysts/engineers, accountants etc.
  • Reliable analytical and presentation skills; you have the ability to condense complex requests into simple solutions
  • Interest in navigating in a fast paced environment and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High self-motivation, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask
