As a compact team members often wear multiple hats and tackle a variety of challenges. On the technical side they look for an experienced professional who is adept at identifying issues and devising solutions. They primarily use TypeScript and focus on building scalable systems to ensure ongoing improvements on a robust foundation. While its not necessary to be familiar with all their tools a solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and experience in developing scalable infrastructure and backend solutions are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Develop the backend components for a range of userfocused features.
• Improve the performance of databases and overall infrastructure.
• Enhance the observability monitoring and alerting systems to improve response to operational incidents.
• Expand the capacity of our clients service through both architectural modifications and infrastructural enhancements.
• Improve the Developer Experience (DX) to significantly boost team productivity.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in node.js and SQL databases.
• Experience working on systems with a lot of traffic.
• Experience in a productfocused startup (B2B2C fintech entertainment consumerfacing platform)
• You should be comfortable working in a fastpaced company with loosely defined requirements.
• Based in Europe.

• 1hour architecture design interview address a given problem by designing a system using Excalidraw
• 45minute interview with the CEO

• A salary of $75K $125K / year equity
• Work in Paris office or from wherever youre based in Europe
