Job Description

• Provide communication, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution and study skills support for students.
• Develop strategies and tools to help students excel and reach their full potential including tips, video training sessions, product tours etc.
• Host open-house sessions to present the organization to older and existing students.
• Report to the Department Director and communicate with other departments including but not limited to accounting, teacher mentorship etc.
• Attend regular weekly meetings with the department director and staff.
• Provide internal and external feedback to appropriate teams and families on the student’s progress and prepare reports as directed including but not limited to subject evaluation and progress, student attendance, educational goals, and objectives, retention metrics etc.
• Educate students, parents, and families about our services and courses to increase participation and assist in developing annual program plans/objectives for retention.
• Act as a primary contact linking students to the rest of the organization.
• Handle educational logistics and procedures for students including but not limited to initial assessments, annual, semi-annual, and quarterly assessments, student report delivery, registration of new students, schedule adjustments including cancellations and rescheduling, student transfers, accurately updating student data and logs etc.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• 2-3 years working experience. Experience as a counselor in an educational organization is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a major in counseling, social work, and psychology
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledge of and advocacy for the mission of Islamic Education
• Excellent Internet connectivity and access to a quiet space.
• Ability to work late hours is preferred.
