Translation Reviewers -English/Arabic & Vice Versa

About the Job

• Organize translated material and finalize translation according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, page numbers, headings, and captions are correct and terminology.
• Review & correct translations done by other translators and freelancers on a wide variety of texts.
• Pertain to the following categories: “Medical, Legal, Information Technology, Marketing, Healthcare, etc.”
• Check charts, tables, and figures for completeness and accuracy.
• Check proper localization/conversion of measurements (e.g. decimal commas).
• Make sure that all translated files, segments are revised, and all instructions applied according to clients’ requirements.
• Report the translation quality and decide the necessary actions to be taken in order to evade any quality issues.
• Work as part of a larger editing team, attend team meetings, provide constructive editorial input, and communicate with team members to effectuate consistent, accurate, and high-quality work product.
• Work to develop the processes and procedures of the translation team through building glossaries, style guides, and specialized instruction manuals.
• Manage work schedules to meet deadlines.
