Quality Assurance Tester

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborating with others to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results
• Evaluating product code according to specifications
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
• Helping troubleshoot issues
• Conducting post-release/post-implementation testing
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Testing current products and identifying deficiencies
• Suggesting solutions to identified product problems
• Investigating product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Planning, creating, and managing the overall Quality Planning strategy
• Collaborating with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
• Identifying quality assurance process bottleneck and suggesting actions for improvement
• Overseeing continuous improvement projects
• Collecting quality data
• Identifying key KPIs for product quality
• Preparing and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester
• 3 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques, such as UI Testing,automation testing tools (Selenium, Appuim), performance testing tools (JMeter), and API testing tools (Postman, Katalon Studio)
• 3 years of experience with coding using JAVA, HTML5, DB2, and XML
• 2 years of experience with web security technology
• 2 years of experience with software QA tools and processes
• Security testing background is a must
• Knowledge with PHP scripting is highly recommended
• Experience using penetration testing utilities and tools, such as Burp Suite, and SQLmap
• Can work with Linux systems
• Ability to test programming libraries
• Experience with mobile testing
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Good knowledge of database systems
• Ability to support and mentor junior testers
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Attention to detail
