Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Direct and supervise the operation of printing services

• Review incoming work, prepare production instructions, establish priority and schedule work for the various phases of production.
• make work assignments for printing personnel and supervise employees to assure efficient work flow and high quality publications
• train, schedule and evaluate the performance of assigned print room personnel
• Supervise printing, collating, binding and distribution of approved publications.
• Maintain inventory of curriculum guides and direct the distribution of published materials.
• Assure proper maintenance and repair of departmental equipment, maintain current knowledge of technical advances in the field.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred in Printing, publishing and packaging)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build clear and effective communication.
• Very Good Command of the English language.
• Very Good Command of computer skills (MS office, photoshop & adobe acrobat).
• Has the ability to solve problems, multi-tasking.
• Can carry out small and periodic maintenance operations.
