Junior Graphic Designer

About the Job

• Working on designs to produce an effective marketing and advertising campaign.
• Working on creative layouts and art working pages ready for print
• Designs, illustrates and prepares printing layouts for various brochures, books, newsletters, instructional aides, information pamphlets, annual reports, and other departmental publications and printed material.
• Designs, illustrates and prepares advertising layouts, billboards, posters, exhibits, flyers, letterheads, logos, certificates, forms and other promotional materials.
• Creates electronically designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts; may develop web-based graphics.
• Use computer software to generate new images.
• Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
• Coordinates with marketing and other departments requesting graphic design or layout work; develop ideas, suggests new or modifies existing ideas; demonstrates graphics techniques and advises other departmental personnel on techniques and methods to use.
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
• Developing interactive design.

Job Requirements

• A complete knowledge of motion graphics tools: After Effects, and plugins
• Fully master Adobe suite: Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe InDesign CS, Adobe GoLive CS, and Adobe Acrobat
• Website design knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under stress.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
