IT System Engineer

Job Description

• Working with ticketing system.
• Support users, make sure all desktop applications and related equipment's problems are working fine.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server 2008,2012,2016 - DC, DNS, DHCP, File & WSUS.
• Manage and configure SAN and NAS storage: DELL-EMC and QNAP.
• Manage and administer Kaspersky endpoint Security policies using Cloud Security Center.
• Install, manage and administer VMware vSphere ESXI and VCenter server.
• Manage and administer Veeam backup & replication.
• Manage and configure Sophos XG Firewall along with maximizing network efficiency and security.
• Manage, configure, and support VOIP Solutions.
• Manage and configure IP and CCTV Surveillance System.
• Install, configure and support routers using routing protocols Rip, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Install, configure and support switches - Netgear, Aruba and HP. Using VLAN, PVST, VLSM.
• Plan for WAN optimization for site-to-site linkage.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT.
• ITI, NTI scholarship preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, VMware is a must.
• Very good English language skills.
• Ability to work in different locations - Heliopolis / October
• Strong self-learning and development skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Can work independently.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of OSI & TCP/IP model.
• Excellent knowledge of the END USER support tasks.
• Good knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
