About Electrolux
Electrolux is an integrated facility management company with presence across the UAE servicing a wide range of government and private sector organizations. With over 2700 employees the company is ranked among the top names in the facility management industry.
In 1977, the founders of AB Electrolux – Sweden, decided to start their flagship Middle East Operations in Saudi Arabia for sale of white goods in the region. In 1983, the promoters found the facility management opportunity as a new diversification and initiated the business in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Thailand, Hongkong, Malaysia and India.
The operations commenced in Saudi Arabia with the initiation of over 50 major hospitals being catered for nursing and bio-medical engineering staff, followed by upkeep of the premises. This eventually led to a JV with Allied Medical PSC to maintain more hospitals and equipment in the region including the Corniche hospital in Abu Dhabi and the Tawam Hospital in Al Ain.
