Job Summary

  • Operational Management: Ensure smooth workflow across the workshop and reception department by managing approved work orders maintaining quality execution and ensuring proper documentation of all processes.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service that meets their current needs and anticipates future requirements.
  • Team Management: Direct and motivate employees in the workshop and reception overseeing time management production rates and overtime calculations.
  • Recruit train and develop employees to ensure they meet the required job standards and enhance their technical skills.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Monitor the implementation of health and safety regulations in both the workshop and reception ensuring all operations adhere to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the service areas.
  • Coordination with Parts Department: Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure the availability of necessary parts for repair tasks and service requirements while adhering to warranty procedures.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to both the workshop staff and external customers when required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure continuous maintenance and proper functioning of workshop tools and equipment arranging for calibration and repair as needed.
  • Pricing and Discounts Monitoring: Oversee the pricing of services and the application of discounts ensuring that they comply with predefined levels and company standards.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Actively participate in the marketing and promotion of the service centers services identifying opportunities to expand business reach.
  • Task Distribution: Guarantee that tasks and procedures are distributed in alignment with available resources and employee capabilities.
  • Complaint Management; Monitor and address customer complaints particularly complex or major issues ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance.
  • At least 8 years of practical experience in positions directly related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • At least 8 years of practical experience in managing and supervising automotive service workshops/centers.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
  • Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and manage direct work demands as well as those of the team.
  • High-level customer service skills and the ability to build and manage excellent professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills.
  • Awareness and thorough understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability.
