Do you want to gain hands-on experience with project portfolio management reporting governance and process improvement
As a Student Assistant in GlobalConnects Infrastructure Management Office you will support a team that helps keep our large infrastructure project portfolio healthy transparent and ready for decision-making.
What you need to succeed
- You are currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in business administration strategy finance or a related field with at least two yearsleft of your studies
- You are curious about data and how it can be used to create insight
- You have good financial understanding
- You are interested in developing your system and automation toolbox
About the role and the team
In GlobalConnects Infrastructure department we build and deploy large infrastructure projects and operate GlobalConnects network. You will join the Infrastructure Management Office a cross-functional team responsible for management support project portfolio management and external funding.
The team consists of a PMO Manager a Senior Business Development Manager and another Student Assistant. You will work closely with stakeholders across Infrastructure IT and Finance and you will get exposure to how portfolio data governance and reporting support investment decisions.
What youll be working on
- Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders by gathering input following up on actions and helping the right information reach the right people
- Maintain data quality in our portfolio system
- Support portfolio reporting that gives leadership a reliable and accurate view of the project portfolio
- Document processes and help identify gaps improvements and opportunities for simplification
- Contribute to our process automation journey across the portfolio
Who you are
You enjoy working with both people and data. You are structured curious and motivated by creating clarity from information. You like collaborating with different stakeholders and are comfortable following up to keep things moving.
You do not need to know everything from day one. What matters is that you are eager to learn take responsibility and are interested in how systems processes and reporting can support better business decisions.
The position requires around 1520 hours per week with flexibility around exams and other academic commitments. It is based in Copenhagen.
