Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NetSuite Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development customization and maintenance of our NetSuite ERP system. This role requires a deep understanding of NetSuites architecture extensive experience with SuiteScript and the ability to lead technical projects from conception to implementation. The ideal candidate will also bring a forward-thinking mindset leveraging AI tools and technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

NetSuite Development:

• Design develop test and deploy customizations scripts (SuiteScript 1.0 2.0 and 2.1) workflows and new functionality based on evolving business needs.
• Optimize NetSuite performance and scalability to ensure efficient operation of the ERP system.
• Implement integrations with other business systems using SuiteTalk RESTlets and other integration tools.
• Leverage AI/ML APIs (such as OpenAI Claude or similar) to extend NetSuite functionality and build intelligent data-driven features.

System Customization & Maintenance:

• Customize and maintain NetSuites forms fields records and workflows to meet organizational requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and system administration to ensure NetSuite functionality aligns with business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues in a timely manner.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage technical projects including requirements gathering solution design development testing and deployment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time within scope and budget.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with business analysts system administrators and other IT professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and IT staff including adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and technical teams.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with NetSuite updates and industry best practices to continuously enhance system functionality.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization including the application of AI-powered automation and agent-based workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with NetSuite with at least 3 years in a senior or lead developer role.
• Expertise in SuiteScript (1.0 2.0 and 2.1) and SuiteFlow.
• Strong experience with SuiteTalk RESTlets and other integration methods.
• Proficiency in JavaScript SQL and web technologies (HTML CSS).
• Familiarity with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (e.g. OpenAI Claude or equivalent) into business applications or ERP workflows.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

• NetSuite certification(s) such as SuiteFoundation SuiteCloud Developer or ERP Consultant.
• Experience with other ERP systems and integration platforms.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Experience with the ARM module within NetSuite.
• Experience designing or deploying AI-powered automation solutions or agentic workflows within enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain AutoGen) or AI agent platforms.

Additional Details

• Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check Education Verification Employment Verification Drivers License Verification and Passport/ID validation.
• Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
