At CGI we are currently hiring a .NET API Developer with a high level of English to work on an international project.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
Technical Skills
- 6 years of experience API development
- Strong experience in C# .NET Core and REST API development
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services (e.g. Azure Functions API Management App Services)
- Experience with API security versioning and monitoring
- Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling
Integration Experience
- Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations (A2A B2B B2C APIs)
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems (ERP HR procurement vendor systems)
Development Practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
- Strong debugging troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
Architecture & Governance Awareness
- Understanding of enterprise API governance security standards and design patterns
- Ability to align development with enterprise architecture and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
API & Integration Development
- Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs Core to support EAM workflows and integrations.
- Enable data exchange across multiple enterprise systems (e.g. Workday vendor portals legacy asset systems OEM integrations).
- Build APIs to support asset lifecycle operations including procurement invoicing delivery and asset tracking.
Enterprise Integration & Data Movement
- Develop scalable integration solutions supporting A2A (application-to-application) B2B and B2C patterns.
- Ensure efficient high-quality data movement across systems to support EAMs single source of truth objective.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Participate in solution design aligned with Ryders enterprise architecture and API governance standards.
- Contribute to defining API contracts data models and integration patterns across the ecosystem.
- Ensure solutions support automation and elimination of manual processes (swivel chair).
Cloud & DevOps Integration
- Develop and deploy APIs within Azure-based environments (e.g. Azure Functions API Management).
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines automated testing and deployment processes aligned with Ryder engineering standards.
Quality Performance & Support
- Conduct unit integration and performance testing to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
- Optimize APIs for prformance scalability and resilience.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with product owners business stakeholders and integration teams to refine requirements.
- Document API specifications design artifacts and development processes to support enterprise governance.

- Experience in Logistic and Transport sector

- Experience supporting data-centric platforms with high integration complexity
- Comfortable working in cross-functional environments with business and technical stakeholders

- Strong communicator who can translate technical solutions into business value.
- Experience working on large transformation initiatives (e.g. ERP asset management or platform modernization) is highly valued.
