This position sits within Caterpillar Chinas Electrification and Energy Solutions (EES) team and is based in Qingzhou/Qingdao. You will lead a local engineering team responsible for rapid development prototype build machine integration and validation of electrification solutions.

This role combines technical leadership people leadership and hands-on execution to drive delivery across multi-site engineering activities. You will work closely with design manufacturing testing and supplier teams to align priorities remove execution barriers and ensure delivery readiness. The role requires strong engineering judgment team coordination capability and the ability to manage complex technical priorities. You will play a key role in building local engineering capability and accelerating electrification innovation in China.

Key Responsibilities主要职责
Lead and develop the Qingzhou-based RED engineering team through work planning resource coordination capability building and daily technical guidance.
通过工作规划资源协调能力建设及日常技术指导带领并发展驻青州RED工程团队
Own team execution for prototype build test bench development component fit-up machine integration and validation activities.
负责团队在样机搭建试验台架开发部件装配整机集成及验证活动中的执行交付
Drive fast engineering turnaround by ensuring timely decision-making issue closure and implementation follow-through.
通过及时决策问题闭环和实施跟进推动工程方案快速响应与落地
Coordinate with Qingdao/Wuxi design teams QPG testing teams manufacturing and suppliers to align priorities and remove execution barriers.
与青岛/无锡设计团队QPG测试团队制造及供应商协同统一优先级并清除执行障碍
Establish and continuously improve RED operating processes including safety discipline build/test documentation and issue tracking.
建立并持续优化RED运行流程包括安全规范搭建/测试文档及问题追踪机制
Build a disciplined engineering culture focused on issue management root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
打造以问题管理根因分析和持续改进为核心的规范化工程文化
Provide leadership with regular project updates technical risk assessments and escalation support.
定期向管理层提供项目进展技术风险评估及升级支持
Ensure readiness for critical RED milestones machine tests and implementation phases.
确保关键RED里程碑整机测试及实施阶段具备交付准备

Required Skills任职要求
Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Automotive Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
本科及以上学历电气工程机械工程机电一体化车辆工程或相关工程专业
Proven engineering experience in team leadership prototype build machine integration or validation execution.
具备成熟工程经验并在团队带领样机搭建整机集成或验证执行方面有成功实践
Experience leading work in rapid product development or fast-paced engineering execution environments.
具备在快速产品开发或快节奏工程执行环境中推动工作的经验
Strong communication stakeholder coordination and structured problem-solving skills.
具备优秀的沟通能力利益相关方协调能力和结构化问题解决能力
Ability to manage priorities across multiple engineering interfaces including Qingdao Wuxi Qingzhou QPG and the NPI workshop.
能够统筹青岛无锡青州QPG及NPI试制车间等多方工程接口下的优先任务
Familiarity with prototype build test bench development machine testing and engineering issue management processes.
熟悉样机搭建试验台架开发整机测试及工程问题管理流程
Strong ownership execution discipline and ability to drive results through others.

Preferred Skills优先条件
Experience with electrification e-powertrain or energy solution systems.
具备电气化电驱系统或能源解决方案相关经验
Experience in off-highway equipment construction machinery or similar heavy equipment industries.
具备非道路设备工程机械或类似重型装备行业经验
Familiarity with system engineering processes validation methodologies and issue tracking practices.
熟悉系统工程流程验证方法论及问题追踪机制
Experience leading engineering teams technical workstreams or complex execution projects.

Experience working effectively across cross-site or global engineering environments.
