Position Title
RF Repair Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repair and troubleshooting of RF boards for 4G / 5G products including Massive MIMO AIR and RU systems
- Diagnose RF signal chain issues including but not limited to:
- PA (Power Amplifier) LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) TRX and RF Front-End modules
- Conduct RF performance validation using test equipment including:
- EVM ACPR VSWR and other key RF parameters
- Support failure analysis (FA) and provide preliminary root cause insights
- Participate in repair activities during NPI and mass production phases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Test Quality Engineering) to drive issue resolution
- Follow ESD and production procedures to ensure repair quality and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or technical background in Electronics Telecommunications or related fields preferred
- Basic knowledge of RF principles with experience in:
- 5G NR or LTE systems (preferred)
- OTA or Conducted testing (preferred)
- Experience in PCBA/Board-level repair (13 years preferred)
- Ability to read schematics and use basic test instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset
- Prior experience in manufacturing/EMS environment is a plus
- Good teamwork and communication skills able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Ericsson products (AIR / RU / Massive MIMO)
- Familiarity with 5G RF test methodologies
- Understanding of automated test systems (e.g. test scripts test blobs)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Test/Quality/Engineering)
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g. Keysight Rohde & Schwarz)
