Experience:
10 years of hardware engineering experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience managing a multi-disciplinary hardware team (including hardware development PCB layout mechanical/thermal testing and NPI).
Proven track record of leading end-to-end hardware development projects from concept to mass production with experience in complex product development and NPI process management.
Deep technical expertise in at least two of the following domains: hardware design PCB layout mechanical structure design thermal simulation hardware testing or NPI engineering. Familiarity with the full hardware development lifecycle and industry best practices.
Special Skills:
Experience in hardware design tools (e.g. Altium Cadence OrCAD) mechanical design tools (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) thermal simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS Fluent Icepak) and test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers).
Familiar with NPI processes DFMEA DFM and manufacturing processes (e.g. SMT injection molding). Experience with supply chain management and supplier collaboration is a plus.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g. ISO CE FCC RoHS) relevant to hardware products.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire motivate and develop a high-performing team. Experience in talent recruitment and career development.
Excellent project management organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
