Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in:
  - Finance and Computer Science (Double degree or combined program preferred)
  - Financial Engineering
  - Mathematical Finance
  - Risk Management
  - Quantitative Finance
  - Computer Science with a strong interest in financial markets - - Data Science Mathematics Statistics Economics or related disciplines
• Demonstrated interest in both financial markets and technology.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts such as:
  - Fixed income securities
  - Interest rates and yield curves
  - Investment management
  - Financial markets and products
  - Risk management concepts
• Basic programming skills preferably in Python.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic coursework or project experience in both finance and technology disciplines.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following:
  - Asset Liability Management (ALM)
  - Market risk management
  - Fixed income analytics
  - Financial modeling
  - Quantitative analysis
• Experience using Python libraries for data analysis (e.g. Pandas NumPy).
• Experience with databases data engineering or data visualization tools.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with software development practices such as Git testing and version control.
• Experience developing analytical automation or data-driven solutions through academic or personal projects.

Salary range is expected to be between:

$40950.00 CAD - $62450 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work-term.
