Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a detailed assessment of existing AVD workloads and identify candidates for migration to Windows 365.

Conduct cost analysis and comparison between AVD and Windows 365 including licensing infrastructure and operational costs.

Design end-to-end Windows 365 solution architecture including.

Provisioning models (Cloud PC sizing licensing strategy).

Identity and access integration (Azure AD Entra ID) Networking and connectivity.

Security and compliance considerations.

Define and resiliency and high availability strategies for Windows 365 environments

Configure and deploy Windows 365 Cloud PCs using Microsoft Intune.

Develop and enforce Intune policies (device configuration compliance security baselines patching).

Plan and execute migration strategy from AVD to W365 (where applicable).

Collaborate with stakeholders to align solution with business and technical requirements.

Provide documentation knowledge transfer and operational handover.


Essential Skills:

10 years of experience in End User Computing (EUC) and cloud virtualization technologies.

Strong hands-on experience with Windows 365 (W365) deployment and management.

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture and operations.

Microsoft Intune (endpoint management policy configuration).

Proven experience in cost modeling and optimization for AVD vs W365.

Deep understanding of Azure networking (VNet VPN ExpressRoute).

Identity Access Management (Azure AD Entra ID).

Security and compliance frameworks.

Experience designing highly available and resilient solutions.

Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
