Job Summary

Description

The Warehouser position will be responsible for shipping and receiving products related to customer orders and internal requests for parts and equipment. They are responsible for accurately receiving picking and packing orders labeling inventory control and all other general duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling- moving material including the use of a reach truck or forklift.
  • Check and record parts received.
  • Complete and print shipping and receiving paperwork.
  • Sort distribute and place materials or items on shelves according to procedures.
  • Assemble containers and crates record contents manually or in ERP system pack goods to be shipped and provide shipping instructions.
  • Cleaning of area tools and equipment.
  • Equipment maintenance and the recording of the maintenance
  • Participate in shop inspections/investigations; including shop environment equipment and HSE incidents.

Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):

  • Knowledge and experience with warehousing and industrial equipment an asset
  • Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A valid forklift operators certification is essential
  • Knowledge and experience with shipping and receiving processes is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience of rigging and loading is considered an asset

Technical Requirements (software or program knowledge needed):

  • Microsoft Office application knowledge an asset
  • ERP knowledge an asset

This position is classified as safety sensitive and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.
