Hourly Rate: $29.62 per hour

Are you looking to build a long-term career with a growing company Door Systems is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kelowna. As a Warehouse Associate you will play a key role in supporting our operations by receiving and organizing inventory preparing customer orders building torsion springs and maintaining an efficient warehouse. This position requires a detail-oriented organized and self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with their hands.

Responsibilities:

Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.

Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.

Prepare outbound shipments and transfers across Canada.

Build and assemble torsion springs using specialized equipment and a torch (training provided).

Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely (training and certification provided).

Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory counts.

Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complete.

Pick pack and stage materials for service and installation crews.

Keep warehouse yard and storage areas clean organized and safe.

Load and unload trucks and deliveries.

Assist with general warehouse operations and branch support as required.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Participate in ongoing training and team development activities.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Trades construction mechanical or manufacturing experience considered a strong asset.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Experience using power tools.

Forklift experience is an asset; certification will be provided.

Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting carrying and moving materials.

Basic math and measurement skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Working Conditions

Warehouse and yard environment.

Occasional exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Regular lifting pulling pushing and material handling.

Use of power tools forklifts scissor lifts and torch equipment.
