Primary Duties:

  • Provide direction and support for the daily picking activities
  • Assist with measuring and reporting effectiveness of warehouse picking activities and employee performance
  • Identify areas of improvement
  • Organize and maintain the work area including maintenance of equipment product storage containers and racking
  • Assist with training and daily/weekly/monthly checklists and inspections
  • Participate and run safety meetings
  • Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure proper labelling and identification of inventory is maintained at all times
  • Assist with investigation of inventory discrepancies and solutions
  • Assist with the generation and distribution of weekly reports on monitored bins within the warehouse
  • Ensure proper flow of all the product and its corresponding paperwork
  • Scanning of all the paperwork required or classified as essential
  • Work with the other warehouse teams for the proper schedule of the incoming overseas product
  • Work closely with the uncrating and receiving teams to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages product discrepancies paperwork discrepancies or delivery delays
  • Resolve any discrepancies identified by Accounts Payable or other departments
  • Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health Safety Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures.

Preferred applicants will possess the following qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of related warehouse experience complimented with leadership responsibilities
  • Mechanical experience is an asset
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel & Outlook)
  • Working ability with current ERP computer software would be preferred use of RF guns
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Strong communication (oral and written) organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
