Job Overview: We are hiring an experienced VMware Engineer with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) migrations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing VMware infrastructure including VMware NSX and VMware AVI Networks while supporting enterprise-scale virtualization and cloud environments.
Must-Have Skills
- 10 years of experience in VMware Infrastructure Administration.
- Mandatory experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) migrations and upgrades.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX.
- Experience administering VMware AVI Networks (NSX Advanced Load Balancer).
- Expertise in VMware platform administration monitoring troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of networking virtualization and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer monitor and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) VMware NSX and AVI Networks environments.
- Perform platform health checks upgrades patching and lifecycle management activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Execute configuration changes following established change management processes.
- Optimize platform performance load balancing network segmentation and security policies.
- Collaborate with application network and security teams to support deployments migrations and business initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain operational documentation and prepare reports on system performance incidents and platform changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise VMware environments.
- Strong understanding of virtualization cloud infrastructure and network security.
- VMware certifications are an added advantage.
