ResponsibilitiesIdentify and target new business opportunities within the retail sectorBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through networking cold calling industry events and digital outreachResearch prospective retail clients and understand their payment processing needsConduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate prospective clients on the benefits of our payment processing solutionsHighlight key features such as point-of-sale (POS) systems unattended markets integration contactless solutions and fraud prevention capabilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process addressing any questions or concerns and negotiating termsWork closely with internal teams such as Solutions Product Development and Customer Success to align sales efforts with company goals and enhance client satisfactionProvide market feedback and insights to help shape the development of new payment solutions and servicesTrack sales activities update CRM systems and provide regular sales reports to managementOther tasks as assignedUp to 75% travel is requiredTechnical RequirementsBroad experience in product and solutions sales (minimum 8 years) that includes high dollar sales and long sales cycle processesStrong understanding of payment processing technology (e.g. POS systems payment gateways card networks) and the specific needs of retail businessesProven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas. Strong negotiation presentation and communication skillsAbility to assess client needs and provide tailored payment processing solutions that drive business growthExperience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) to track sales activities and manage leadsComfort with understanding technical product features and explaining them in simple terms to non-technical audiences
