Duties and Responsibility

Install repair and replace in-plant adduction equipment and heat exchange systems including steam bundles unit heaters shell-and-tube exchangers spirals etc;
Fabricate new metal plastic fiberglass polymer and steel-polymer lined piping;
Diagnose sources of problems in heating systems by manipulating valves and instruments related to pipe lines;
Read plans and specifications to determine lengths/quantities of materials required;
Comply with company health and safety standards including wearing appropriate protective equipment (clothing and respiratory).

Education experiences and competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent and DEP in plumbing and heating;
  • Plumbers certificate of qualification (construction or non-construction);
  • Minimum 5 years experience (2 years in heavy industry or chemical industry an asset);
  • Natural gas burner systems license (an asset);
  • Provide work of high quality;

  • Perform physical or mechanical tasks.
