Transportation Driver

Buckland is looking for a Transportation DriverWhat youll be doingThis position will be primarily required to safely operate company vehicles while transporting goods and materials for customers for pickup and delivery. This position will be required to cross the border to the Buckland Warehouse in Port Huron MI. You will be responsible forOperate straight trucks to transport goods and materials in a safe and timely with applicable legislation including carriage of goods drivers hours of service occupational health and safety transportation of goods customs and immigration and weights and all cargo related documentation and record hours of service distance travelled and fuel pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspection report any issues and oversee all aspects of safe operation of the vehicle defects accidents traffic violations or damage to the vehicles cross-border and e-logs software as well as necessary communication in loading and unloading use cross-border and e-logs written and verbal communication we need from youHigh School Diploma or equivalentDZ license requiredCurrent copy of Personal Drivers AbstractFAST Card / Valid Passport for Border CrossingMust be able and willing to travel to the USAMust be able to work with little supervision and have self-directionMust demonstrate strong oral and written communication abilitiesMust be able to meet insurable requirements from organization Insurance provider in order to be insuredEligibility to consistently qualify to be insured by ILDS Insurance mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenanceValid Passport with ability to travel USA
