(Part Time not to exceed 24 hours per week)

DEPARTMENT:Office of Global Engagement

RATE OF PAY:$42.14 hourly

The University of Windsor is actively expanding its portfolio of international joint programs offshore education initiatives and global academic partnerships particularly in China and other priority international markets. This role supports high-profile institutional initiatives at the intersection of international higher education academic strategy regulatory coordination and global partnership development.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Transnational Education (TNE) Coordinator supports the development and implementation of international joint programs offshore education initiatives and global academic partnerships. Working within a complex multi-stakeholder environment the role coordinates academic regulatory operational and partnership activities required to advance institutional transnational education initiatives from planning through implementation.

The Coordinator acts as a central point of integration across academic units administrative offices and international partnerssupporting curriculum alignment application development stakeholder coordination and project reporting. The role is responsible for maintaining timelines tracking risks and dependencies and ensuring that required materials and approvals are in place to support timely and complete submissions.

The position supports the transition from planning to implementation by coordinating operational readiness activities in collaboration with units such as Facilities Information Technology Services the Office of the Registrar and other central services. The role exists to sustain momentum across multiple workstreams ensure accountability and enable the effective execution of TNE initiatives in a structured and compliant manner.

This role may particularly appeal to candidates with experience or interest in international higher education global partnerships public policy quality assurance academic program development or complex institutional project coordination.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must possess:
A completed undergraduate degree in education administration business public administration international education policy law or a related field.
Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects in a multi-stakeholder environment including developing timelines tracking deliverables and ensuring progress against milestones.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with academic leaders administrators and external partners managing relationships across a matrixed organization without direct authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare clear concise briefing materials reports and structured documentation to support decision-making.
High attention to detail with experience managing documentation ensuring accuracy and maintaining organized records and version control across multiple workstreams.
Ability to identify issues assess risks and support resolution by coordinating inputs and escalating matters appropriately.
Experience working in a regulated or structured environment with the ability to interpret requirements and support compliance-related processes.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in evolving or ambiguous environments adapting to changing priorities and maintaining forward momentum.
Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders including in international or cross-cultural contexts with the ability to communicate effectively across time zones and institutional settings.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and in accordance with institutional policies.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A graduate degree in a related field.
Experience in international higher education transnational education (TNE) or global partnership development.
Familiarity with academic governance quality assurance processes curriculum mapping or program approval frameworks.
Experience supporting partnership agreements regulatory submissions or cross-border education initiatives.
Knowledge of international regulatory environments (e.g. China/CFCRS or similar frameworks) is considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated experience working across cultures time zones and international contexts.
Experience supporting financial planning inputs risk tracking or project reporting within large-scale initiatives.
