We are seeking an experienced Transition Lead to plan manage and execute the transition of IT services from the client or incumbent vendor to the delivery organization. The role is responsible for ensuring successful knowledge transfer governance setup operational readiness and a seamless transition to steady-state operations with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute transition plans including scope timelines governance resource planning and success criteria.
Lead knowledge transfer activities ensuring completion of documentation SOPs runbooks shadowing and reverse shadowing.
Act as the primary point of contact for client and internal stakeholders facilitating governance meetings and providing regular status updates.
Coordinate onboarding of transition resources and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure operational readiness.
Identify track and mitigate transition risks issues and dependencies while managing escalation processes.
Establish and standardize ITIL service management processes including Incident Change Problem and Service Request Management.
Ensure readiness for go-live support hypercare activities and monitor service stabilization and performance.
Maintain transition documentation and ensure compliance with contractual regulatory security and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
8 12 years of experience in IT Services Managed Services Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) or transition management.
Proven experience leading service transitions migrations or service onboarding in global delivery and multi-vendor environments.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes service management frameworks and enterprise application or infrastructure environments.
Experience with tools such as ServiceNow JIRA Confluence and Azure DevOps.
Excellent project management stakeholder management communication risk management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work effectively in complex enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud infrastructure and application architectures.
ITIL Foundation PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are an asset.
