Location: Ancaster ON (Onsite)

As our next Training & Development Co-op Student youll play a key role in supporting employee training and development across our Ancaster facility. Working closely with operators supervisors engineers and subject matter experts you will help develop and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) training materials and documentation that promote safety quality consistency and operational excellence.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Develop revise and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for manufacturing administrative and training processes.

  • Partner with operators supervisors engineers and subject matter experts to document standard work and best practices.

  • Observe job tasks and production processes to accurately capture step-by-step work instructions.

  • Ensure all training documentation aligns with safety quality and compliance requirements.

  • Create and update supporting training materials and resources.

  • Track training completion records and support updates within the ETQ system.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on training effectiveness and documentation quality.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For:

Education and/or Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program.

Experience (preferred but not required):

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality environment is an asset.

  • Experience creating or updating documentation work instructions training materials or process maps is preferred.

Language Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization including shop-floor personnel and leadership

Work Environment (including Physical Demands):

  • Combination of office and production floor environments.

  • May require standing walking or working near machinery.

  • Production areas can be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.

  • Must follow all Health & Safety guidelines and wear required PPE when on the production floor.

  • Occasional overtime or flexible hours may be required.
