The hourly wage rate for this position: $44.23.
The Opportunity
- Operate monitor and maintain high-pressure water tube boilers fluidized bed boilers compressors and associated utility equipment.
- Perform boiler water testing and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and support building fire alarm steam heating and glycol heating systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to maximize reliability and uptime.
- Follow all health safety environmental and operating procedures including the use of required PPE.
- Support plant operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Valid Ontario 3rd Class Operating Engineers Certificate of Qualification.
- Previous experience maintaining and operating high-pressure water tube boilers.
- Experience with solid fuel handling combustion systems and boiler auxiliaries.
- Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on safety compliance and operational excellence.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE including respirators Tyvek suits safety glasses gloves and safety footwear.
