Job Summary

As a Recruitment Specialist you will be responsible for sourcing evaluating and onboarding candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle working closely with recruitment coordinators hiring managers and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient process. You will bring 1-2 years of high-volume full-cycle recruitment experience and possess a Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration Human Resources Recruitment or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An RPR designation is considered an asset.

What would you be doing

  • Screen resumes conduct interviews and schedule pre-employment testing to identify top talent and support the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates while collaborating with internal teams to meet departmental hiring needs.
  • Post job openings on the ATS website and job boards and guide shortlisted candidates through the application process for a positive experience.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the applicant tracking system maintaining efficient recruitment operations and clear candidate communication.
  • Provide regular updates to active candidates and perform additional recruitment-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Proven relationship-building skills through customer service interactions and experience recruiting technical specialists field/trades personnel and professionals across multiple disciplines.
  • Proficient in sourcing platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed familiar with job boards HR software databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Experienced in conducting behavioural-based interviews across multiple formats (in-person phone video).
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent computer skills with superior interpersonal written and verbal communication abilities.

Additional Information :

As a condition of employment qualified applicants who accept the role must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check. This may consist of a combination of a Canadian Criminal Record check an Employment Verification and an Education and Accreditation Verification.
