Telecom Project Manager (Wireline FTTx)

Job Description:

Role Descriptions:

• Manage end to end delivery of wireline projects (FTTx OSPISP transport fiber rollout).
  
• Develop project plans schedules budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
  
• Coordinate with engineering construction procurement and operations teams.
  
• Monitor project KPIs timelines and cost compliance (CapExOpEx).Oversee Survey permitting civil work quality checks and site readiness.
  
• Ensure compliance with Canada telecom standards safety rules and regulatory requirements.
  
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and executive dashboards.
  
• Manage issues changes and escalations to keep scope schedule on track.
  

Essential Skills:

• Required SkillsStrong understanding of wireline technologies (FTTxGPON OSPISP).
  
• Experience with fiber construction splicing testing (OTDR) permitting utility coordination.
  
• Excellent communication leadership stakeholder management and problem solving skills.
  
• QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering Telecommunications or related field.
  
• PMP certification with major telecom operators or large fiber rollout programs is an asset
