Position Overview
Site Technician Job Description
The Site Technician will be responsible for supporting the maintenance troubleshooting testing restoration and day-to-day operation of telecommunications network sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and maintain RAN equipment including BBUs RRUs alarms and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot microwave and transmission equipment including ODU/IDU equipment link issues and connectivity.
- Support Cisco routers switches TLAN equipment Site Boss and other IP/network equipment.
- Perform fiber optic testing inspection cleaning and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot DC power systems rectifiers batteries breakers and related power alarms.
- Perform preventive maintenance equipment inspections alarm verification and site condition checks.
- Support equipment replacement commissioning integration and post-maintenance testing.
- Perform RFC connectivity and other required network validation testing.
- Coordinate with NOC TAC WFM and other technical teams during troubleshooting and service restoration.
- Respond to corrective maintenance emergency outages and service-impacting incidents as required.
- Maintain accurate updates work-order closures test results photographs and other required site documentation.
- Handle and track spare parts replacement equipment tools and client-provided assets.
- Follow all company client and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Travel within the assigned service area and participate in on-call or emergency support when required.
- Proper Knowledge and Practical experience about deployment of Generators.
