Client is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to support Digital Excellence in Health (DxH) initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical and project documentation by translating complex business and technical information into clear structured and user-friendly content.
This role requires close collaboration with architects developers business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure project documentation accurately reflects business requirements technical specifications and evaluation criteria.
Key Responsibilities
Develop professional structured and comprehensive technical project documentation.
Translate complex technical requirements into clear and concise written content.
Collaborate with SMEs architects developers and business stakeholders to gather information.
Consolidate and synthesize technical and business inputs into cohesive documentation.
Ensure documentation aligns with business objectives requirements and evaluation criteria.
Maintain high standards of accuracy completeness and quality across all deliverables.
Manage multiple documentation deliverables while meeting project timelines.
Support Ontario Healths digital transformation initiatives through effective documentation practices.
Required QualificationsMust-Have Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience developing high-quality technical and project documentation.
Proven ability to capture complex technical information from architects developers and technical teams and translate it into clear structured documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience.
Experience working collaboratively with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
Public sector experience is required.
Technical Skills
Advanced technical writing and documentation expertise.
Ability to identify gaps inconsistencies and incomplete requirements.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint and collaboration platforms.
Knowledge of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related accessibility standards.
