Reporting to the Sr. Manager Digital Product Management as a Technical Product Manager (12 month contract) you will lead the evolution of Cineplex Connect encompassing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) account management and payment platforms. You will drive critical modernization initiativesincluding identity account MFA and wallet capabilitieswhile ensuring performance scalability and security during peak traffic periods. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a resilient forward-thinking platform that elevates the customer experience and supports continued business growth.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
Take the lead in modernizing Cineplex Connect shaping the future of customer identity (CIAM) accounts and payments in line with broader digital priorities.
Own and influence the product roadmap and backlog driving impactful initiatives across identity MFA accounts and wallet capabilities while balancing quick wins with long-term platform vision.
Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to deliver secure scalable and high-performing solutionsensuring reliability when it matters most especially during peak moments.
Build your expertise as a go-to authority in identity authentication and payments guiding decisions on best practices innovations and technical trade-offs.
Collaborate across teams (Security Risk Marketing Digital Operations) to shape priorities align on goals and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Champion enhancements in authentication and security helping introduce smarter MFA solutions that protect customers while keeping their experience seamless.
Develop and manage relationships with key vendors and partners maximizing performance innovation and value.
Create and evolve product standards documentation and performance benchmarks helping drive consistency scalability and operational excellence.
Requirements
You bring a bachelors degree with education in Information Technology Computer Science or Business Administration considered a strong asset.
You have 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager ideally working on digital platforms or customer-facing products.
Youre comfortable working in agile environments (3 years) partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver complex scalable solutions.
You have 4 years of experience across technical product management business analysis or product ownership with a strong focus on backend systems APIs and integrations.
You have hands-on experience (2 years) with CIAM/IAM platformsincluding login MFA and identity lifecycleand have contributed to modernizing identity account or payment systems to deliver secure high-performing experiences.
You bring hands-on experience in APIs distributed systems and cloud architectures along with an understanding of security encryption and design trade-offs.
You have a solid grasp of payment ecosystems including cards digital wallets gateways and tokenization with a focus on secure seamless transactions.
You understand CIAM and identity architecture (OAuth OIDC SAML) including authentication authorization MFA and creating secure yet user-friendly experiences.
Youve led or contributed to platform modernization initiatives working across APIs integrations and vendor partnerships to drive performance and innovation.
Youre comfortable shaping and managing a product strategy roadmap and backlog aligning priorities to business goals and customer needs.
You thrive in collaborative cross-functional teams contributing to modern software design and delivery.
