Technical Account Consultant, Canada
Job Summary
You are the specialist for Canadian Payroll (including Time & Attendance and Time Off integration) and Canadian Benefits for Ripplings customers.
You are the definitive internal and external resource on how Canadian payroll connects with T&A and Time Off and on Canadian benefits administration including carrier connections eligibility rules and compliance requirements specific to Canada. You will support both Canadian TAMs and US-based TAMs who carry accounts with Canadian payroll.
- Payroll Configuration Audits - Review live customers pay schedules tax configurations and T&A/Time Off connections to identify errors inefficiencies or compliance gaps and deliver clear remediation recommendations
- Payroll T&A/Time Off Enablement - Train customer admins on how Canadian payroll integrates with Time & Attendance and Time Off modules and address common misconfigurations
- Feedback loop to Product - Capture structured feedback on payroll and benefits performance surfacing recurring themes and Canada-specific insights to Product and Engineering
- Benefits Configuration & Optimisation - Review Canadian benefits setup carrier connections and eligibility rules to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Internal TAM/AM Enablement - Serve as an internal knowledge resource upskilling TAMs and AMs on Canadian payroll and benefits.
- Structured engagement delivery - Provide documented findings and next steps from every engagement and drive engagements initiated reactively by TAMs/AMs or proactively where risk or complexity warrants it
- Training asset development - Build reusable training assets covering Canadian payroll best practices and benefits configuration plus internal enablement materials for TAMs AMs and IMs
- 3 years of SaaS experience in payroll process consulting implementation or support
- Deep working knowledge of Canadian payroll including provincial tax and compliance requirements
- NPI certification a must.
- Added Plus: Experience with Canadian benefits administration.

- Ability to explain complex payroll and benefits scenarios in simple clear written or verbal communications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve complex interdependent configuration problems
- Interest in actively working with product and engineering teams to feed Canada-specific product gaps into the roadmap
