Teamcenter Implementation Engineer (Fixed Term Contract)

Multimatic is expanding the use of Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace (web client) across engineering. We have an initial proof of concept in place and need a hands-on PLM Architect to help bring it to a level that works for the entire organization.

This role is technical and practical. You will be directly involved in configuring extending and maintaining Teamcenter Active Workspaceworking alongside strong engineers who understand our design workflows but not the underlying Teamcenter architecture (BMIDE reporting stylesheets etc.). This is not a consulting advisory or people management role. The deployment is specific to a Teamcenter Active Workspace deployment not the Rich Client but a working knowledge of Rich Client is important for backend configuration.

Responsibilities

Teamcenter Active Workspace ownership

Take technical ownership of the Active Workspace configuration as we move from PoC to broader deployment.

Translate real engineering needs into workable Teamcenter solutions without over-engineering.

Establish clear maintainable patterns for configuration data modeling and deployment.

Data model and configuration (BMIDE)

Configure andmaintainthe Teamcenter data model using BMIDE (business objects attributes LOVs relations rules).

Testconfiguration and data model changes to ensuresuccessful deploymentwithoutnegativelyaffectingexisting implementation

Manage deployments across environments and ensure changes are controlled and understandable by others.

BOM outputs reports and Excel deliverables

Own how downstream outputs are generated including BOM exports to Excel.

Understand existing report/export mechanisms document how they work and make them configurable and supportable.

Improve report definitions and templates where needed.

Attribute management and OEM(customer/supplier data)onboarding

Define how new OEM attribute sets are introduced mapped and governedinTeamcenter.

Implement scalable approaches for attribute mapping and validation rather thanone-offfixes.

Decide when configuration is sufficient and when light customization is justified.

Active Workspace UI andstyle sheets

Edit andmaintainActive Workspace stylesheets (XRT)to controlcreate pages summary views and attribute visibility.

Ensure stylesheet changes are manageable across environments and upgrades.

Enablement and knowledge transfer

Work closely with internal engineers explaining how the system works and why decisions were made.

Produce clear documentation andrun booksso the system does not depend on tribal knowledge.

Mandatory Qualifications

5yearshands-onexperience with Siemens Teamcenter in a production environment.

Direct experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace (configuration and administration; Rich Client alone is not sufficient).

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

Strong working knowledge of BMIDE and Teamcenter data model concepts.

Solidhands-onexperience with at leastone ofNX or CATIA V5 in an engineering environment; working knowledge of the other (can beweaker butmust be credible andpractical).

Experience working with BOM structures revisions attributes and downstream outputs (includingExcel-baseddeliverables).

Experience editing ormaintainingActive Workspace stylesheets (XRT) or equivalent UI configuration.

Comfortable working directly with engineers and IT explaining technical topics clearly and pragmatically.

Hands-on experience withSOA and ITK customization

Knowledge of Teamcenter Dispatcher Client application and troubleshooting

Knowledge of Teamcenter WorkflowcreationmodificationandWorkflow handlers

Hands-on and detail-oriented.This is an individual contributor role that demands practical implementation.

Willing to get into configuration files reports and stylesheetsnot just describe how theyshouldwork.

Practical communicator who works well with people but is comfortable making technical calls.

Nice to Have Qualifications

Experience with Teamcenter reporting / PLMXML / report builder concepts.

MultiCADor OEM/supplier data exchange experience.

Automotive aerospace or similar complex engineering environment.

Contract Duration: 1-year contract with potential extension.
