Role Description
- Validate RESTful and event-driven APIs to ensure functional accuracy performance and reliability.
- Design and execute API test cases covering positive negative and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform automated API testing using tools and frameworks such as Postman Karate and REST Assured.
- Validate API security authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and JWT.
- Collaborate with API Developers Solution Architects and DevOps teams across delivery pods.
- Support CI/CD integrated testing defect triage and release sign-off.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise quality security and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills
- 47 years of experience in API or integration testing within BFSI or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs JSON HTTP protocols and integration patterns.
- Experience with API test automation and defect management tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
