Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the full-cycle recruitment process by attracting assessing and hiring top talent across the ParaMed business. As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering with designated ParaMed districts and leaders to identify and leverage a variety of recruitment channels and sourcing strategies to build strong talent pipelines.

This position will be based out of Nova Scotia Halifax. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Upload monitor and track postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

• Identifystrategic sourcing opportunities andparticipatein community events

• Review and assess applications

• Conduct pre-screening interviews

• Schedule interviews with Hiring Leaders andparticipatein interviews asrequired

• Communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment process

• Review reports and analyze data to meet targets

• Complete other duties as assigned.

What were looking for:

• Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources

• Minimum3yearsexperience in high-volume recruitmentrequired

• Working knowledge of recruitment andselectionand ATS Workday

• Experience in proactive candidate sourcing

• Experience in healthcare recruitment is an asset

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize successfully in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment

• Superior customer service skills and communication skills
