Reporting to the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition the Talent Acquisition & Campus Recruitment Coordinator provides support across both campus recruitment and talent acquisition programs. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end campus recruitment process coordinating student placements serving as the primary point of contact for schools and students and supporting recruitment administration onboarding and pre-employment activities across the organization.

The successful candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Human Resources graduate looking to gain experience in both Talent Acquisition and Campus Recruitment.

This role will be located at our Markham Ontario head office. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.

This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

What You Will Do:

Campus Recruitment & Student Programs

  • Coordinate the administration of student placements across the organization.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for student school and placement-related inquiries.

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges universities and educational partners.

  • Coordinate participation in career fairs information sessions and other campus recruitment events.

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for campus and student hiring including job postings candidate screening interview scheduling offer administration and onboarding.

  • Partner with hiring leaders to support student hiring requirements and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Track student placements and maintain accurate records and reporting.

  • Support activities that promote Extendicares employer brand to students and new graduates.

Talent Acquisition Coordination

  • Post job opportunities and support recruitment activities across the organization.

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within recruitment systems.

  • Support onboarding and pre-employment activities including document collection background checks and employment-related paperwork.

  • Monitor shared inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and assist with recruitment projects as required

What you bring to the role:
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with students schools candidates and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong customer service mindset and professional approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook Word Excel and Teams.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Demonstrates initiative accountability and a willingness to learn.
