Job Title: Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior
Location: Toronto Ontario
Work Model: Onsite
5 years of experience in testing across various testing types (functional non-functional UAT)
Ability to create detailed test plans test cases and reports
Proven experience in AODA compliance testing and WCAG 2.1 standards
Experience using tools like Jira to track and manage defects
Description Responsibilities- Provides advice on testing strategy test plans testing tools and required resources
- Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non GUI environments
- Develops test plans test scripts and test cases and executes them
- Executes functional integration system and regression testing
- Validates system behavior under various conditions
- Identifies documents and tracks defects using tools like ALM JIRA Bugzilla Azure DevOps
- Works with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Develops automated test scripts using tools like UFT Selenium TestComplete Postman
- Integrates automated testing into CI CI pipelines
- Conducts performance stress and load testing
- Applies AODA standards and accessibility testing practices
- Collaborates with developers business analysts and project managers
- Participates in Agile ceremonies
- Maintains documentation for test results and quality metrics
- Provides inputs for release notes and user manuals
- Ensures compliance with industry and regulatory standards
- Experience planning and implementing testing efforts
- Knowledge of structured development methodologies
- Experience with CASE tools and data query tools
- Experience using automated testing tools and version control systems
- Experience executing functional and non functional tests
- Experience supporting UAT
- Knowledge of QA principles practices and methodologies
- Experience creating test strategies plans and test data
- Experience with unit integration load and performance testing
- Knowledge of SDLC
- Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
- Team player with ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of automated testing tools
- Experience with system integration regression and acceptance testing

- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation
