Systems Architect

Position: Systems Architect (Azure Kubernetes AI/Cloud Modernization)
Location: Hybrid 3x per week onsite (Toronto ON)
Structure: Full-Time
Compensation: $200K$210K Base Salary

Requirements:

10 years of experience in Systems Architecture Platform Engineering or Enterprise Application Modernization

Strong experience designing and modernizing distributed systems microservices and cloud-native architectures

Deep experience with Microsoft Azure Kubernetes CI/CD and DevOps modernization initiatives

Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications/platforms into scalable modern environments

Strong understanding of API-first event-driven and distributed system design principles

Hands-on experience with Python React technologies

Experience with infrastructure architecture networking fundamentals scalability and resiliency patterns

Experience producing formal architecture documentation and governance standards

Exposure to AI/ML integrations OpenAI services or enterprise AI initiatives

Strong collaboration mentorship and technical leadership skills

Experience working within hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments

Nice-to-have:

• TOGAF Certification

• Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code

• Service Mesh technologies (Istio Linkerd)

• ERP / CRM modernization experience

• MLOps understanding
