We are seekingSurveying Studentsfor our Toronto district within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for4 or 8 months starting September 2026.
As aSurveying Studentand depending on your assigned project you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Contributes to day-to-day layout and grading tasks
- Helps monitor quality control in compliance with contract documents
- Assists in managing surveying for project layout and conformance
- Marks and labels survey points and record field data according to job specifications
- Participates in creating and maintaining survey models
- Understands coordinate systems scale factors design requirements and engineered forming systems
- Assists in creating survey notes and recording field data
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment
- Understanding basic surveying principles with a practical approach
- Familiar with construction plans such as structural architectural and shop drawings
- Application of various computer software programs will be required including word processing spreadsheet applications and drafting (AutoCAD Revit etc.)
- Student must be in a recognized drafting architectural engineering or construction management program
- Experience with operating total stations and survey equipment/GPS for layout and as-built purposes

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.33 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
