Job Summary

We are currently hiring for a Supply Lead to support our In-Service Support (ISS) team for the Halifax Class Combat System (HCCS) ISS program. You will work with the System Leads and program management team to provide support across a range of activities including:

  • Track and manage the delivery of material including spares and repair and overhaul (R&O) items across all Equipment Groups (EGs);
  • Create parts in Windchill (PDMLink) and support their import into IFS;
  • Support the creation of CF1280s for material received at DND facilities;
  • Support the quoting of new spares orders through GDMS-C Supply Chain;
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained in the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) including repair and overhaul work orders and material held at the OEM;
  • Liaise with the System Leads to status all material related tasks and identify any potential risks;
  • Report on the status of the spares and R&O tasks in the Monthly Technical Progress Report;
  • Create process maps to document and improve the various material processes;
  • Update that the material related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); and
  • Support the survey activities on the ship and the associated report creation to document the results.

Qualifications :

  • The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelors Degree or diploma in an applicable discipline;
  • Ability to travel to the Fleet Maintenance Facility (FMF) sites in Victoria BC and Halifax NS; and
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in supply management for defence/aerospace equipment.

It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.


Additional Information :
