Compensation Range: Between $57500 - $107500 annually
We are seeking a Planner to support material planning and program execution across the supply chain lifecycle. The Planner is responsible for translating program requirements into material demand ensuring timely availability of materials and maintaining alignment between supply schedule and inventory.
Essential Functions:
- Convert program and engineering requirements into material demand (BOM & schedule).
- Create and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) based on lead times and priorities.
- Coordinate with Buyers to align sourcing and delivery schedules.
- Monitor material availability and track deliveries against plan.
- Identify and manage shortages delays and inventory risks.
- Allocate inventory to projects and support material movement.
- Ensure readiness of materials for production and customer deliveries.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP systems (IFS).
Key Metrics for Success
- Material availability at required dates.
- Schedule adherence (plan vs actual).
- Reduction in shortages and expedited orders.
- Inventory accuracy and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations Business or related field.
- 3 years of planning supply chain or operations experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred).
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Strong planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset across cross-functional teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
