Job Summary

We are currently seeking 2 Supervisors Maintenance to join our team at Levack Mine!

The Supervisor Maintenance is responsible for the sustainable and reliable maintenance of Magna Mining Inc.s equipment infrastructure and facilities at Levack Mine. This role oversees multiple maintenance disciplines including Electrical Millwright Mobile Equipment and Shaft work while supervising crews managing resources and promoting a safety-first culture.

All Magna Mining team members are expected to work collaboratively with others lead the way in health and safety act with honesty integrity and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in pursuit of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily maintenance activities across all maintenance disciplines including electrical mechanical (millwright) mobile equipment and shaft maintenance.
  • Lead coach and mentor a team of tradespersons and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed according to schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and support operational targets.
  • Collaborate with planners and engineers to prioritize work orders allocate resources and improve maintenance practices.
  • Monitor parts usage and ensure adequate inventory levels in collaboration with the warehouse and supply chain teams.
  • Assign work monitor progress and provide technical guidance to maintenance crews across all disciplines.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance practices equipment performance and cost efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies digital systems and predictive maintenance practices.

Requirements

Qualifications: Formal Education Certifications or Equivalents

  • Certified Electrician preferred or certified tradesperson with strong electrical background.

Work Experience: Nature & Length

  • 7 or more years of maintenance experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience across multiple maintenance disciplines including electrical mechanical and mobile equipment.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a leadership role.

Key Competencies: Behaviours & Skills

  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of underground mining maintenance practices and standards.
  • Familiarity with mining regulations occupational health and safety practices and emergency response.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead teams in a dynamic and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and prioritize work effectively.
