Supervisor Distribution Centre- 2nd Shift (Contract Position August to December)

The Opportunity: 

The Supervisor works in a fast paced environment and is responsible for coordinating directing and supervising warehouse employees to meet or exceed efficiency quality and safety goals. This includes the areas of order picking warehousing and shipping.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

• Supervises directs and guides warehouse leads and employees.
• Manages employees in warehouse operations in accordance with the organizations policies practices ESA standards and Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Coordinates workflow and staffing scheduling for assigned employees based on inbound and outbound needs.
• Utilizes AS400 system database applications spreadsheets and forecast information.
• Ensures loads are completed and loaded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensures that organizational labor efficiency goals are met and maintained analyses information and implements changes to improve quality efficiency and safety.
• Other supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to: training employees; planning assigning and directing work;  disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

• Five or more years of experience in a leadership capacity in a warehouse environment Union management experience strongly preferred
• Relationship skills that work across teams and functions excellent communication skills the ability to compromise and the desire to work with skill sets across the entire organization
• Leadership ability that ultimately betters the team the ability to drive change and results through influence and focus and demonstrated expertise in the field
• Analytical skills capable of synthesizing and prioritizing a large volume of information and the ability to think critically to make clear well-reasoned and rational decisions
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting Mattel and customer requirements and deadlines
• Able to analyze and interpret reports graphs and other data
• Microsoft Office (intermediate or above)
