Job Summary

The opportunity:The SupervisorAquaticsis responsible forsuccessfully managing quality aquatic programs and services in a safeservice this role you will: Demonstratestrong supportand commitment to the mission and core values of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka and the YMCA in supportand commitment to serving the membership facilityusersand all program participants of the YMCA of Simcoe/ qualityprograms and servicesin accordance withYMCA standards and best practices member needs and Association strategic andmaintainhigh memberparticipation and retention through the delivery of exceptional programs and approved measurement toolsmonitorall programs and services for quality consistencyretentionand overall a departmental operating budget in cooperation with the General the fiscal health of thedepartmentflagging significant variancesin a timely manner. Takeappropriate actionto rectify any significant the annual budget contribution as approved by the all YMCA standards and best practises and regulations as defined by the Health Department and other governing the safety and security of YMCA members and participants at all timesthrough the supervision of trainscheduleand evaluate an exceptional team of staff and that staffholdscurrent qualifications as per Health Regulations and YMCA standards. Maintaincurrentcopies of all qualifications on file both locally and at the Association -service development for aquatics staff concentrating on safety procedures effective child and youth focused instruction techniques and exceptional YMCA service acustomer-facingpresence during day evening and weekend hours as required by YMCA programs and with members and participants on a regular basisin order tomaintainaccessibility and foster front line program leadership asrequiredor defined by General an efficient flow of information to ensure that staffmembersand volunteers are well informed. Ensure that communication is clearprofessionaland effective.
