Be a part of our mission to support First Nations in achieving their financial goals and enhancing their administrative role is an 8-week term position open to youth between the ages of 15-30 as part of the Canada Summer Jobs ApplyFlexible work hours and a 35-hour work weekOpportunities for professional development and career growthA talented diverse and inclusive team doing transformative work on a national scaleHybrid work opportunities availableWhat You Will DoAssists with the coordination of events including conferences seminars dinners and training that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures collaborating with other employees and ensuring a high-level of internal and external event detailed and accurate event files such as exhibitor databases contract and financial to coordinate event materials such as schedules badges swag equipment and administrative support tracking registrations and events with coordinating travel excellent client service throughout the client or potential client available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous You AreDesire to pursue event planning and/or formal education in administrative support. Exceptional interpersonal skills including outstanding oral and written communication capabilities inEnglish; French language a strong organizational and skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).Must have an understanding awareness and appreciation of Indigenous culture and to participate in ongoing education and training for the role including Indigenous Cultural to ExpectFMB aims to keep the recruitment process as open as possible.
