Heres how a Subcontractor Default Insurance Coordinator for PCL Constructors Canada Inc. within Toronto contributes to our team:
- Maintain and update subcontractor prequalification database
- Review evaluate and prepare reports on financial assessments and analyze qualification submissions from subcontractors
- Meet with subcontractors as needed to review and obtain prequalification information including financial statements
- Evaluate subcontractor capacity and assist in developing project-specific risk mitigation plans
- Meet with internal teams to understand prequalification requirements
- Assist in subcontractor outreach
- Liaise with credit associations and references
- Prepare reports on prequalification status subcontractor utilization and other reporting as required
- Complete subcontractor default insurance reports/claims
- Assist with presentations on the prequalification process
- Monitor subcontract values subcontract security and risk mitigation plans
- Other duties as required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in credit management strongly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration is considered an asset
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task prioritize and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to review interpret and analyze financial statements to assess financial performance and trends.
- Strong customer service skills; comfortable and capable of telephone outreach and communication with subcontractors
- Team player with effective interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and professional judgment
- Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of the construction industry is considered an asset
- Knowledge/experience with Oracle Enterprise One software Power B.I and Compass software is considered an asset
The estimated salary range for this role is $61000 - $79000 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
