At Pinterest were seeking curious versatile Web Engineers to join our Product Engineering teams. Youll work closely with product managers designers and backend engineers to continuously push the boundaries of whats possible on the webdelivering delightful cutting-edge experiences for millions of Pinners around the world.

What youll do:

• Build for Impact:Create and launch powerful user-facing features for Desktop and Mobile Web that help spark creativity and inspire our global community.
• Full Product Ownership:Contribute through every stagefrom rapid prototyping and A/B testing to architecting building and scaling solutions that reach millions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely across design product and backend to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality.
• Drive Innovation:Advocate for Pinners by suggesting new ideas and features and use your product sense to shape whats next.
• Quality Engineering:Employ automated testing and best practices to deliver reliable maintainable codetaking full ownership of your work.
• Mentor & Connect: Share your expertise through mentoring teammates leading code reviews and contributing to technical decision-making.
• Leverage AI Thoughtfully:Use AI for rapid prototyping information synthesis documentation and morealways validating results to drive speed quality and innovation.
  
  

What were looking for:

• Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.
• 5 years of industry Web application development experience building consumer or business facing products.
• Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (e.g. testing source-checking data validation peer review).
• High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data avoid over-reliance on AI and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
